I can play a DVD and there is audio and video. When I try to view just the TV and get audio most of the time but not all of the time and no video. Everything was working fine until Sunday 7/19. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Make sure all your cables are securely plugged in.
Good Luck.

Double checked all the cables. They all look good. Still no picture.

Do you have more than 1 box? Can you swap them around to see if the problem follows?
Or try a different input type (component vs hdmi)?
I had a problem a few years ago where the input to my TV died.

I have only one box.
The HDMI cable from the box to the TV was using the HDMI 1 port. I put it into the HDMI 2 port and same result. DVD player has both audio and video but the TV has neither. Sometime I have audio for about two seconds. Other than that I have no audio and no video.

Does that mean it's the box?

Could be the Box, the TV, or the cable. Some STB don't do the HDMI handshake well with some models of TV. Can you use some other type cable or a different TV to see what your STB settings are?
