I have a new 52" LCD TV hooked up to the STB via HMDI cable. Sometimes the sound gets very choppy and then goes back to normal if you switch to a different channel and then switch back.
Some times the sound gets choppy, then goes off. There are even times when the sound goes off that the picture will get really dark, then the STB will reboot.
Can I fix this somehow? Do I need a new STB?
I just started this service 4 weeks ago. It has been happening all the time since I started.
What are the make/model of the tv and set top box?
