Can I use one of these adapters to make my fios tv service completely wired? Verizon just installed a VMS4100atv with a small stream tv box that sits on top of it. I need to disable all wifi and make it hard wired.

Yes, that's what that device is for. Just plug into the USB-C port, and add coax or ethernet and you are good to go. Don't forget the MoCa 2.0 approved splitter too.
