Hello All
My FiOS TV let's me watch channel 232 (FXM) but says I'm not subscribed to channel 732 (FXM-HD). Is this possible?
This is really annoying because I have my set-top box-DVR set to default to the HD version of a channel.
So if I key in 232 or select it from the guide (which is set to shows my favorite channels), it automatically defaults to 732 and says I'm not subscribed. So the only way I can figure out to get the 232 is to use the channel up or down button on my remote.
Incidentally, if ! change my guide from showing mu favorites to showing subscribed channels, 232 shows up but not 732. With all my other channels, if I'm subscribed to the non-HD version. I'm also subscribed to the HD version, at least for the many channels I've checked.
Is there something wrong here, or is this how it's supposed to work? Does anyone else have this problem? If this is correct, is there a way to get my box not to default to the HD version of 232 without disabling the HD default for all the other channels I watch?
Thanks!

His explanation is plausible. It has happened before in contract disputes. I wasn't aware of the recent problems but they continually crop up pretty much every year. Usually they get resolved relatively quickly. Still the not-subscribed messages usually relate to an authorization problem, which are fixed by billing re-authorizing your account.

I'd call the billing department and have them re-authorize your account. I believe you should be getting BOTH versions of FXM if you have it as part of your channel line up.

Thank you, Clem 21
This is very odd. So I called tech support. The guy there told me that there is a dispute going on with Disney, and that FXM has been removed from most FiOS packages (I DO see several news stories about that. Verizon dropping FXM, Disney Jr., Disney XD, and National Geographic Willd as if April 15.) He said he's surprised I'm getting FXM at all. Does his explanation sound plausible? Are you or anyone else out there getting BOTH 232 and 732 on FiOS? The representative was a nice guy and seemed to know his stuff. He said Verizon is hoping the resolve the issue with Disney by the end of this month.
Playing with it further, I realize I easily can get to 232 by keying in 233 on my remote. It goes right there., not that we watch all that much on FXM anyway.
Thanks again!

Thank you, Clem21! We'll see what happens. It's not a big deal. It just seemed odd that I could get the SD but the HD and wanted to figure it out.
