Hello All,
I've seen quite a few threads and posts floating around suggesting various channels/programs you would like to see on FiOS TV. In an effort to consolidate the information, I have decided to create this single thread about the subject. Feel free to reply to it with your suggestion(s) on what you would like to see on FiOS TV.
Please note: I make no promises as to whether or not you will see these channels/programs on FiOS TV. Though I do know that the right people here at Verizon are looking at this thread for your feedback and advice on the matter.
Regards,

I vote for BBC America HD as well.
NASA TV would also be fun.

AMC-HD - I recently switched from Comcast and did not realize that FIOS did not have this channel until the new season of Mad Men started. I miss seeing it in HD.
I realize that no cable provider can offer every single HD channel due to bandwidth limitations and royalty costs, but when you have hit shows on less popular channels already offered in STD, perhaps their HD versions could be made available On-Demand?

I agree...we only need need AMC in HD OnDemand. Except for MAD MEN and THE PRISONER, the channel is a waste of bandwidth, Very little HD, stretched and cropped movies (incredibly censored and butchered).
I'll be happy with BBC and TCM {whenever they start showing movies in HD)

As Verizon has two sets of audio only channels (albeit with graphics) I'd like to see local FM (and AM where the audio can be added from the source like the local TV stations). When I lived in Orange County California I had Cox Cable and they had (and still have according to the web) local FM stations after the Music Choice selections. This would be helpful where FM reception is weak and would be a great boost where AM service is too noisy to listen. Plus, if TV stations can get a direct connect we can hear AM stations in FM quality.
Just IMHO, YMMV.

How about we join the bandwagon and get on the BBC America HD train? Timer Warner gave it's customers the channel virtually the second it was available, why not on FIOS?
It's the one channel I've always wished was in HD and now that it's available stateside, and has been since July, it's time enough Verizon got around to it, come on!
BBC America HD all the way!

That may be true of your VHO (don't know what area you are in), but we are asking for it on a national basis as it is not carried across the whole FiOS footprint.

NASA TV Please, been waiting a long time for this. Verizon provides this service with the "Dish" service so why not provide it for us FIOS customers. Please ??

When is FIOS TV in the Buffalo NY area going to bring back RTN (Reto Television Network) It was on channel 11 and I know they did stop broadcasting for awhile, but they are back and not on FIOS. It is available here on channel 2.3, I had to hook up rabbit ears to my TV to be able to watch it. I also agree with other postings that Turner Classic Movies (TCM) should be in HD. Obviously they show "classic" movies, so they would not have been filmed in HD, but I think they would look much better on the HD tier.
