I've seen quite a few threads and posts floating around suggesting various channels/programs you would like to see on FiOS TV. In an effort to consolidate the information, I have decided to create this single thread about the subject. Feel free to reply to it with your suggestion(s) on what you would like to see on FiOS TV.
Please note: I make no promises as to whether or not you will see these channels/programs on FiOS TV. Though I do know that the right people here at Verizon are looking at this thread for your feedback and advice on the matter.

Fios on Long Island, NY does not show the NYCOTB channel though it is carried on the NYC Fios network. Belmont Racetrack is located on Long Island and we are just as interested in having it aired. This channel has always been available through Cablevision. Can you please add it.
Why doesn't Verizon have FX on demand?? They need to get it!
I agree totally. I currently have FIOS based on circumstances that have made it slightly more affordable than Comcast. However as a recent comcast customer FIOS is clearly a few steps behind comcast in terms of ON DEMAND. In additiona to not having as many options such as FX, the FIOS on demand menu is much slower, and malfunctions more often than the comcast one. If verizon would make progress in oner or both of these areas it would greatly improve their product, and would be more enticing to me as a future customer.

really frustrating to watch games in low res while the HD symbol shows in the corner the whole game. And all their adds tout the broadcast is in HD.
When will FoxSoccer HD come to Verizon? Satellite providers have it already. I have Verizon Extreme HD and still nothing.. I'm highly considering switching now since the English Premier League is under way and I'm tired of watching the crappy non-HD FoxSoc channel.
I echo the sentiments regarding FSC (Fox Soccer Channel) HD -- when can I expect to see channel 584 listed? The HD channel has been available since January, yet somehow Verizon has not noticed this? Watching the standard def version is made all the more annoying by that prominent "HD" in the upper right corner. GolTV HD and FSC Plus HD would be nice too, but let's at least start with FSC HD...

Can you please add more punjabi channel. you already have jus punjabi. Their's a channel that dish network has. It is Alpa ETC punjabi by zee. Also if you could add cricket channel which is willow tv. I think lot of punjabi speaking customers will join fios if you add punjabi channel.
Please add Fox Soccer Channel in HD, GOLtv in HD and Fox Soccer Plus in HD.

@thetxsquid you might also consider Funimation network or Filipino channel - since more FiOS TV viewers watch either of those than FSC 😉

Well, it would have been cool to have FEARNet for Halloween. Oh well...just hope they'll stop covering nearly have the screen with ads during their movies.
can someone on here explain to me why fox soccer channel is on fios, but not any of the fox sports net channels?
my suggestion for addition would be to get more than just three fox college sports channels, and get the entire fox sports net group of channels, considering how much college sports is now carried by fox sports.
oh, and soccer is ridiculously boring.

Don't know about on-line, but SHOWTIME movies and series are available via OnDemand, Also, Verizon already carries BIO (Channel 629) , PALLADIA (711), and DISCOVERY (620)

"Showtime" is a paid subscription group of channels. If you could view their content on-line . . . You get the point.
actually HBO online is possible ..it comes with your HBO Subscription...... its called HBO GO....so where is SHO GO?.....
NASA TV sounds like a great Idea... I can watch the beautiful images of The Earth while the shuttle is in orbit. Throw in some classical music thats all I need while doing work around the house..
BUT The addition.......what I would like to see most is the addition of FOX on Demand to the list of other networks currently on the list. With the popularity of American Idol, Glee, Fringe and other great programs on Fox it's a no brianer to add VOD FOX HD. You already have CBS, NBC, ABC and much more....complete the selection.......
The PBS channel in Harrisburg is terrible. It is mostly children's programming. I would like to suggest that Verizon add WETA and WMPT from the Washington metro area. The programming is wonderful and it is not entirely for children, but more for adults. Children's programming is done in the morning and not at night when adults are usually home from work. They also have more British comedies and more British programming.
