Hello All,
I've seen quite a few threads and posts floating around suggesting various channels/programs you would like to see on FiOS TV. In an effort to consolidate the information, I have decided to create this single thread about the subject. Feel free to reply to it with your suggestion(s) on what you would like to see on FiOS TV.
Please note: I make no promises as to whether or not you will see these channels/programs on FiOS TV. Though I do know that the right people here at Verizon are looking at this thread for your feedback and advice on the matter.
Regards,

The Comcast Network (TCN) in High Definition
I just signed up and I'm really VERY happy with this service. I've had Comcast since they had an @home service in our area (15 years) and it cannot compare. The only thing that is missing is The Comast Network in HD. I see that it's only in Standard Def. Not to be confused with Comcast Sportsnet. I watch the dozen or so Flyers games on TCN during the season and was dissapointed to see that it wasn't in High Def. I know that there was a time not too long ago when that channel wasn't even included with this service but since they broadcast in HD already adding it to the local lineup in the Philadelphia area would be a plus.

Please Verizon can we have BBC America in HD. I've been looking on this forum for over a year and there is clearly a lot of interest in this channel in HD - it's the only non-HD channel I still watch. After a recent Customer Service issue with Verizon I'm now seriously considering moving to another provider. I bet if BBC America was part of Fox Verizon would have it by now - it seems that in this day and age the big networks dictate which channels are on each broadcast provider as much as the providers themselves.

We live between Washington and Richmond and I would live to see WCVE Richmond's PBS channel added to our lineup.

I am recent Prime HD subscriber (dumped Direct TV) in MD zip 21009. I really like the Fox Business Network. It would be a great addition to Prime HD.

ESPN Classic often shows events not on their assigned ESPN channel because a previous event has run over its time period. Please add it.

YOU NEED TO HAVE MSG IN HD
we know cablevision and dolan are blowhards with this but you need to sue them in court for not allowing verizon and fios to transmit msg in hd. PLEASE
ALSO, to compete with time warner and cablevision those of us in Queens need to have a local news station like NY1 and News 12 on long island

NASA Television Now in HD
NASA TV now has a full-time HD Channel available at no cost to cable and satellite service providers. Live coverage of space shuttle missions, on-orbit video of Earth captured by astronauts aboard the International Space Station, and rocket launches of advanced scientific spacecraft are among the programming offered on NASA HD. Also available are imagery from NASA’s vast array of space satellites, as well as media briefings, presentations by expert lecturers, astronaut interviews and other special events, all in the improved detail and clarity of high-definition.

When I signed up for Fios Extreme HD TV last spring I was given a channel line up for my area that included the FOX5 -WTTG local channel. This was important to me because I had it with my provider at the time (COMCAST) and I wanted to keep it when I made the switch. I was assured it was included and I made a copy of the list of channels the sales rep had with him that night which showed it to be included. Unfortunately the only FOX local channel I can get after making the conversion from Comcast to Verizon is FOX45 and this channel does not carry the programs and games that are important to me.
When I asked Verizon customer service why I was not getting what I was promised they told me to go this site to ask for the channel to be added to my choices. I live in Harford Co Maryland and Verizon says the FOX5 channel is not a local channel for me and will only provide me with FOX45. I just checked the channel line up at COmcast for Harford County and they offer both FOX affiliates (Fox45 and Fox5) to their Harford Co users. Fox5 is HD Channel 255 on Comcast and Fox45 is Channel 213 on Comcast). If Comcast can offer FOX5 in my Area why can't Verizon??
In general terms I would really like the ability to access other non-local channels at some point in the future and see that as something that might have value to a lot of other people who relocate from an area but want to keep tabs on the area from which they relocated.

FOX SOCCER IN HD PLEASE.
I am actively looking at other systems to receive Fox Soccer in HD, and may switch cable providers to obtain this. This is the only channel I watch, and watching in SD makes my eyes bleed.
