We recently got the forced upgrade to the new wireless items from the previous STB. Since then, television is unwatchable. We are getting constant VMS errors and we never go more than 5 or 10 minutes without it all cutting out. It then somehow reconnects. Watching from the DVR isn't any better. Same issues, choppy video, jumps in viewing and garbled video.
We never had any of these problems before the forced upgrade.
We already have gigabit wireless. We only have the 2 stb's on the FIOS router wireless. All other items go through a different router so as not to interfere.
Try watching a sports event when it cuts out every 2 or 3 minutes with the VMS error. It's really impossible. The constant error is PLBY_122. But the STB is available because it comes right back.
It is 7:57 PM EST. Since we started watching the hockey game on TNT, it has cut out 20 times.
How is Verizon going to fix this?
