I can't believe I have PRIME HD, but it appears not to include The Golf Channel. I can watch lots of basketball, football, fishing, stupid kids on TLC, but I can't watch golf!!! It is unbelievable. I feel like I had it and it went away. I seem to have to upgrade to Extreme HD. And, I will not do that. After this contract is over, I'm done with FIOS.
$106 a month for internet and PRIME HD, and I don't have the golf channel. DIsh provided that channel.
And is more expensive for just TV.
Consider upgrading your package if you want that channel.

The DISH only provides the Golf channel in it's upper tiers as well, the DISH's equivalant of FiOS's Prime tier, Americas Top 120 plus, does NOT have the Golf channel either. You're going to have to upgrade whether you stay with FiOS or move to DISH. You aren't going to get it on any low cost tier. Sorry.
Prime HD isn't a low cost tier. It's the one in the middle. Oh well.
Up until fairly recently it was the lowest of three tiers. Select was only added about a year ago.
I recently decided to upgrade my Extreme HD TV to More Fios TV, going from 70 channels to 300. They cautioned that before you finalize the switch, review the channel selection to make sure you have all your favorite channels. It all looked fine except NO Golf Channel. WHAT THE.....?? It literally says "MORE FIOS TV". I don't understand why this is the situation with "more"? Can anyone relate to this and offer some sort of explanation? Hello.... Verizon.... Hello? I didn't go ahead with switch because of this, even though they were offering a better deal financially.
