We recently upgraded to the FiOS One system, and was wondering if the ethernet port allows for an ethernet cord to be run from the set top box to a computer. We were looking to gain ethernet access to the router without running Ethernet cables through the house. Thank you!

No the ethernet is an input not an output. It can connect on coax, ethernet or wifi.
You could get a FIOS Network Extender which is wireless and take the coax from the mini plug into the extender then use one the ethernet ports to feed the mini.
