Verizon Remote Control-Fios TV

Frequently, when channel numbers are entered, the Verizon User Guide (Channel 1952) appears.  This occurs even though the number you enter appears on the screen.  This happens with two different remotes and fresh batteries.  What's up?

1952 is the last channel in the FiOS TV Guide, the remotes can be very sensitive so if you hold on the the key pad buttons for a split second longer it'll add the 4th number in there and say for instance if you want to go to channel 255 and you hold on to the '5' button a little bit longer you'll get 2555 which will revert to the closest channel which is 1952.  Be a little easier on the remote and you should be ok, either that or the buttons may be sticking. but with the same activity happening on two remotes I think you may just need to ease up a little bit, but if you need a new remote let us know!
