Watching Land of the Dead tonight on AMC and a quick white banner jumps on and off the bottom of the screen. But I caught a few words of the text. Anyone else catch it say, "Verizon being dropped by AMC" or something similar....???
I don't think we were meant to see it but I did. It lasted only 2-3 secs and was yanked fast! Are we going to be held hostage now too? I dropped Optimum because of nonsense like this. Nothing worse than the providers and networks forcing the viewers to do their dirty work for them while screwing us out of what we pay for.

Hello: I just saw the tv ad indicating that you plan on dropping AMC from the FIOS network. Please don't drop AMC because many customers like msyelf love this channel because of the movies that it shows. Besides if you start dropping channels, then you must be prepared to lower the price of your FIOS package to customers.
Do not drop AMC...I would have never dropped Comcast if I knew you would even think of dropping AMC. You drop AMC...I drop Verizon. You have not lived up to what I signed up for!!

AMC and IFC are two channels that I watch more than any others that you offer. Therefore, if these channels were to be removed from your lineup, I would see little reason to keep my FiOS subscription. Thus far I have been very happy with your service and I hope this satisfaction continues. Please keep AMC and IFC and I will remain a loyal customer and vocal supporter of your quality service.

Please don't drop AMC and IFC. We would cheerfully pay an additional fee to keep AMC on our set. To have a major providor like Verizon drop a highly rated, highly regarded channel like AMC is ludicrous. This is the second time that Verizon has held its customers hostage while negotiating a deal with an entertainment provider, and we are tired of it. Last time we lost our local CBS and CW affiliates because of a Verizon "negotiation." If it happens again, I have to say, as dissatisfied as we were with Comcast, they NEVER did this to us, and they have been bending over backwards to get us back as clients ever since we left. We will seriously consider returning to Comcast if it means an end to this nonsense.
Please do what you need to do to come to an agreement and keep AMC, IFC, We, etc. I don't want to leave, and I am amenable to paying more if that is what it takes. Thank you.
