Weatherproof wifi extender

Hello. I have Verizon Fios and looking for a good mesh weather-proof wifi extender to be able to get wifi outside. I currently have the Verizon 3100 wifi 6 router and it seems like the signal is lacking vs my old Verizon router with a antenna. Any good options out there?

Virtually any outdoor wireless access points would work with an Ethernet cable back to the router.

Mesh is a bad idea because your link is as reliable as the weakest link.

The specific recommendation would depend on your needs and budget, such as: are you having Zoom conferences outside, or is having a NAS to transfer files? It does not need to be a Verizon product.
