Hey matcarl, i sent you a message.
To answer VPAC's original question it is something that you dont have to set up other then entering your zipcode when you use widgets for the first time. I used it for the first time this morning and it looks as though you just hit wedgets and select widgets bazaar.

well, for some reason, the widget bazaar does not stay for me.
I noticed that they offer nerdbook, twitter, and kodak photo gallery. The lone problem with kodak photo gallery is that they require you to spend at least $5/year on purchases (I know, not much, but still it's the principle). oh yeah, and nobody uses kodak photo gallery.

We use Kodak and like it. What do you mean "nobody uses Kodak photo gallery"?
If Verizon is adding Kodak as a widget and it allows me to see all of our photos on the TV... Terrific!!!

Yeah, I was able to set up Facebook and Twitter. The cool thing is you can check your friend's pics in Facebook while watching TV. Both are easy to set up, just need your user name and password. I can't wait for Kodak Gallery to be active.

that wasn't necessarily a shot at you, I just mean that i did not think that Kodak photo gallery was a widely used photo site (like how yahoo photos used to be).
my point being is that kodak (which has been in the red for quite some time and is on the verge of extenction) probably needs this in order to generate more income, thus "forcing" us, to pay for services that we would normally get for free.

I'm also a Kodak Gallery user, a lot of my family uses it too. It wasn't always Kodak though, they took over the Ofoto service which was free. Yes, Kodak does now ask for a $5 fee or purchase to cover storage costs. The reason Yahoo and others don't is because they allow web ads on almost every page. I would rather have the cleaner ad-free interface.
I'm also looking forward to accessing my photos on my FIOS with the widget.
