I have a room I want to put a TV in but it has no cable hookup and not allowed to run new cables. Can you take a standard cable box and attached some kind of wireless coaxial device to the back of the cable box? The other end of the wireless would plug into an open coaxial plug on the wall.

What model STBs do you have?
If you have Quantum with IPCs, there may be an option:
If you can find a wireless bridge (similar to what you would use to connected a gaming system to your wireless network) you may be able to get an IPC to communicate and work.
I have heard it works with wired ethernet, so don't see why this wouldn't work.
Can't give you any more help than that as I am not running that configuration.
