Ever since I upgraded to the Enhanced DVR and Quantum router in August, my Verizon experience has gone downhill.  My on demand rapidly skips selection lines so I am unable to pick a movie.  My remote is slow(new batteries) and an effort is required to change channels as the numbers repeat like they were double clicked or they do not take at all.  I was sent a new STB which I installed but the problem was still there. I have had a tech visit my home who saw the problem and reported it to his supervisor who I have been in contact with-nothing has improved!!!  This is going on 3 months of frustration!  I might have to go back to Comcast.
