the volume buttons on my new Verizon remote don't work. I tried to fix this by following the advice on the flyer that came with it, but nothing changed. The model number of the remote is VZP283v1RC. Any advice would be appreciated.
the remote is a philips p283 remote, sounds like you need to program the brand tv into rthat remote. http://teleproducts.verizon.com/fileshare/plm/brochure/p283_brochure.pdf
