Is it possible to purchase the tennis channel alone, or only as part of a sports package? We do not get it (except I think it is a free preview now during the French Open). When I log into my account, it is only list as an option under the $15/month Sports Package.
Does anyone know how much it is by itself?
Thanks!

Is Verizon suppressing the customer messages? You can post, but cannot give Kudos to the messages that are not favorable to Verizon. Is this to make each of us look like an isolated case?

Here's another Verizon thread where people are complaining...adding votes to the OP, strength in numbers.
Whoops, see below.

I have a long email from the tennis channel brass stating that rates have not been increased to anyone. Somehow Comcast still carries Tc as part of the sports programming package. What is Verizon up to?

But putting them in a tier so that just about everyone gets them means that FIOS has to pay for ALL the subscribers in that tier. It is a HUGE increase of cost for FIOS, which if they do it will eventually be passed on to all of us. By the way Comcast its also in dispute with The Tennis Channel, but their current agreement is not up yet.

Unless Tennis Channel decides to compromise, probably never. The increased fees they want, mostly because they woul be placed in a tier which includes many more subscribers, are way to high.

I lost one incentive to switch some of my friends to Fios. They like tennis channel - comcast, directtv and dish provide that. Fios has lost a good marketing tool.

PLEASE Bring back the Tennis Channell. I don't want to change my service but I will have to.
I had much better feelings about "VERIZON" Now I think they just don't care.
Common VERIZON make a deal with Tennis channell and bring it back.

I really miss the Tennis channel on Verizon Fios. I love my Verizon high speed Internet, phone and HD TV service.
I don't ever won't to switch anywhere else. But, PLEASE BRING BACK THE TENNIS CHANNEL!!!!
The Australian Open is comming up in January. I missed the men's Champion Finals in November from the UK.
I am also contacting the Tennis Channel to work from both ends.
Thank you Verizon.

Bring back tennis channel. Comcast has it, DirectTB has it, ATT has it,Dishnetwork has it. Is Verizon Fios as bad as Cablevision? Dont go to CV's level.

I signed up with you people and you promised the tennis ch. I took the 2 year plan for 99. a month then with all the add ons it comes to almost 200 after you sucker people in with a no change you drop tennis you make the 2 year plan cheaper with perks . So what does a long time subscriber get other than screwed for the remainder of the contract. When your time is up so is mine.

I saw something on tennis.com a couple weeks ago about the negotiations "continuing in a positive fashion", which leads me to believe that the channel will be back soon. If they are still talking, the issue of tier placement has probably been decided, and the two sides are haggling over price and how much advertising time Verizon will provide through stuff like inserted commercials on different channels. http://www.tennis.com/articles/templates/news.aspx?articleid=15450&zoneid=25
