Filter is rejecting legitimate calls

Last month, the Free Call Filter started sending legitimate calls to voicemail even though the number was in my contacts. Examples include calls from Costco Hearing, Banner Health, and Northwest Health.
I know how to "allow" numbers in the app, but the free version only allows 5. To get more, one has to upgrade to the free version.
Can someone report this issue to the app developer? Or is this a ruse to get users to upgrade to the paid version?

nutrinancy We're sorry to read that these calls were rejected. A good way to allow these calls through would be to adde them to your contacts. ~Peter

I don't use the feature/app but if it is an app that is available via the Play Store or App Store, there usually is an option to provide Feedback or Contact Developers. You might look there to report your issue to the developers in case you don't get helpful responses here.
You might try sending an email to callfilter at verizonwireless dot com for app support. Here's a screenshot from the Play Store Verizon Call Filter app:
