Not sure where this should go, but ... hello everyone.
Within the last week I purchased a "new" Microsoft Xbox Wireless Controller Elite Series 2 from the Verizon shop. It came sealed and seemingly new, however when I went to register it for warranty, much to my surprise the warranty is shown as expired on Aug 14, 2023! In speaking with Microsoft's agents, they say it was registered already and that there was nothing they could do.
The last two reviews of the product on Verizon's website listing seem to have the same issue. I'm wondering how widespread this is ... has anyone else received used products as new? And how was it resolved?
