We went to Verizon dealer store June 2022 to trade in/get new phones and ipads. We were returning customers to Verizon so qualified for two $200 Verizon gift cards. The tech input all if our account/ billing info correctly for the account so we would receive our bills but when it came to signing us up for the gift cards, he put in either his own email or a friends as the cards were redeemed, but not by us. This is just wrong and I wonder if Verizon knows they are getting cheated by store techs who come across as being helpful ( oh, I will input all of your rebate info for you) yet they are actually stealing from Verizon, and customers. As soon as our contract is up, we are done with Verizon.
if anyone at Verizon is interested in pursuing this, I have the name of the tech at the store
