$250 gift card

I switched from Comcast to Verizon because they were offering a better a deal. But after awhile they offered me a deal which required me to agree to a contract for 2yrs with a fixed rate. I agreed plus the promotion was giving a $250 visa Gift Card. WELL that was 4 months ago and to date I still have not received it. I did receive a message stating I had to register for the card by Nov 3, 2019 which I did. I later

received another message in early December stating it had been shipped but I had to redeem it by Dec. 24, 2019. I called and spoke with a rep via chat being concerned that I may not eceive the card until after dec. 24th but the reps had no other info other than what I was reading online. But both reps assured me that I  should receive it before the expiration date. GUESS WHAT??? nothing before or after dec. 24th so I called again and spoke with another rep via chat and this time I was told I had to wait 30-45 days or something after I registered then the gift card would be shipped Its now January and still noting so I called again THIS time I was told its been processed and I should receive the gift card in 3-5 business days. Well... its now Feb 4, 2020 and I still haven't received a **bleep** thing from verizionexcept a bill!!  This is absolutely horrible and not fair to customers. FALSE advertising to get people to switch companies because if you cancel your service you get charged an early termination fee. Either way they make money off you. The good ole bait and switch .. I will be contacting the attorney general not that they care to report this issue. I thought this may have been a slight oversight but I was wrong because I see several other customers have experienced the same problem. I have had no issues with service other then channels being removed but no decrease in pricing. Soon as my contract is up im cancelling and will return to comcast because they actually give you what they advertise! Ill pay the extra money for good customer service no hidden costs.
