I am a Verizon customer for many years. A year ago the price of the service went up. I called the agent and she told me this would be the price with no contract. Now my bill went $40 up suddenly. I called the agent and was told that it was a contract price and my contract has expired. New 2yr contract prices for me are not cheaper. More over, I have “DVD for life” promise from Verizon, and now I am told that this does not apply to new plans. Really? Why does Verizon switch on me and expect me not to switch?
