Billed for FIOS TV after I returned equipment and cancelled

I had service cancelled and my equipment returned.  I was subsequentlly billed for 4 months, even though I had move out of the apt I lived in.  In this a common practice to charge?  I have evidence of my lease ending, so I want to know why I was charged.

Your chat service provided no assistance and calling customer resulting in nothing either.  So just tyring to help those who use your service a view of what they could expect.
