My Verizon package bill went up $50 after 1 year of service. The representative that came to my house never told me my bill would go up. When I spoke to a rep on the phone I told him I wanted the premium channel package removed and I would keep SHO. After holding on for quite a while he came back to tell me my bill would only go down $10!! I am not spending 209.00 to watch the 10 channels I actually watch on tv!! I have my cell service with Verizon as well. I am considering switching both services because of these unexpected rate increases! Any suggestions? I live in Monmouth County NJ.

You may be able to trim your bill by changng your package to one that includes fewer channels.
