Chat reps won’t honor renewal price

This morning I was on chat with Verizon rep “Amanda” because some of my account discounts will expire this week. She quoted me a price to renew but told me to call “customer retention” for possible further customer loyalty discounts. I then spend the next three hours trying to get multiple phone reps or chat reps to honor the quote I received (which is essentially the price of my current services). Even while other chat reps could see the full transcript from “Amanda” no one would renew my services. I was even told a “supervisor” would call me back—which never happened. Such a waste of time. A TERRIBLE customer “service” experience.
