I have an old Verizon account which has been sent to collections. I moved, it was never paid, and is showing as a collection account on my credit report. Is there a way to speak with someone regarding this matter so I can pay the bill and hopefully have it removed as a collection account? Thank you

I'm in the same boat. Spent hours on the phone trying to get someone with no response. Everyone is saying they can't speak to me about the account or find it because it is closed. However, the site was willing to take my money without any deduction to my balance! I've been transferred so many times that I can't count. I'm so over this!
