It's hard to believe that a company can be successful when there is no loyalty to existing members. It is time to renew my contract and the best I was offered was a 7 dollar a month saving. If I was new .. I would get about thirty and. 400.00 dollar cash card and up to date boxes...and probably front row seats to a laker game...seems odd that companies would drive you to the competition..the representative told me that she loses about half her clients with the same argument..hey verizon..think of all the money you would have if you increased you retention rate..maybe everyones cable could be cheaper..the catch all is they were out front tearing up my lawn yesterday without even asking...being in the customer service industry I am glad our policy is to bend over backwards to make our members happy..

Problem is, most of the cable companies operate the same way.
Plenty of people have stated they hop back and forth chasing the new customer deals.

The problem is not Verizon it is the way the industry as a whole operates. They only give deals to get new customers. Once they have the customer they now want to get the full price for their services. You either have to play the game of switching your services back and forth every couple of years or put the service in someone elses name if you can.
