I have just recently installed the Fios One and two Fios One minis after being asked to upgrade from the older model STB (These were sent to me free of charge). While using the older model I had access to DVR services with my Fios plan, however when I finished setting up the new model I am unable to record shows, unable to access the DVR, and now I am being asked to subscribe to DVR plans at an additional $12+ a month.
nowhere in the request to upgrade did it mention I would be loosing my ability to record shows as the DVR capabilities were advertised with the box that Verizon wanted me to upgrade to.
is this a system error that Iโll need to contact Verizon to fix or is Verizon forcing people to upgrade their boxes and hiding that youโll need to pay even more money on top of your bill for services youโve had for a decade prior?
