I am writing to formally report extensive property damage caused by the negligence of the Fios cable installation crew at my residence. On 4/28/2025, I observed that a large white installation truck was repeatedly driving over my lawn and driveway, which occurred shortly after I had temporarily left the property. Upon my return less than an hour later, I witnessed the vehicle in motion, traversing both my driveway and lawn to pull a cable line.
This conduct has resulted in multiple areas of damage:
Driveway: Hairline cracks were formed along the edge of my driveway due to the weight and repeated movement of the truck.
Sprinkler System: Three sprinkler heads were broken, and the underground sprinkler lines were crushed.
Lawn: Sections of my lawn were dug up or severely disturbed by tire tracks and equipment.
Drainage Pipe: My newly installed drainage pipe was also crushed, potentially creating future water flow issues.
All of these impacted components—sprinkler system, drainage infrastructure, and lawn—were installed or renovated within the past few years and were in proper working condition prior to this incident.
I have Ring camera video and audio footage that clearly captures the presence and activity of the installation vehicle on my property during the time of the damage.
