Upgraded to gigabit router today. Was never told that the technician would have to run an ethernet cable through the whole house in order to proceed, without having permission to run cables inside walls. Which is already ming-boggling... but! Long story short we eventually installed the new router next to the HVAC. The technician unplugged the HVAC pump in order to plug the router in and left!... the pump stopped and the leak started... 10 hours after, there is water damage in our brand new finished basement, and a lot of water under the floorboard. I'm thinking the floorboard will have to come out in order for everything to dry, Who do I have to talk to to get this fixed? Does anyone have a contact number? The guys from the sales chat in the main Verizon homepage obviously couldn't help, but I need to know how to file an official complaint asap. Thanks!
