I referred my partner’s business in Jersey City, NJ to Verizon back in June 2022. The salesperson from Verizon named Mr. Ramirez promised us that both of us are going to receive gift cards totaling $1,000 after successfully signup with Verizon. As of today, we’ve only received one $200 Verizon Gift Card, I tried to call and text Mr. Ramirez many times, but was never being able to get a response from him. I also contacted Verizon couple of times and I was transferred to different departments few times as well. I just can never get to the right person to escalate the issue. The reps that I spoke to told me that it was possibly because I did not fill up the referral forms, so we’re not entitled to it. However, Mr. Ramirez has never told me that there’s a form needed to be fill up in order to get the gift cards. He told me in the text that “I got you $1,000 in gift cars as well” , which makes me believe that everything has been successfully completed by him. In addition, when I followed up with him when he did response, the only thing he told me to do is waiting. This is definitely a false advertisement or misconduct by the salesperson from Verizon, I hope to receive the Verizon gift cars which we’re deserved.
