My contract ends on Saturday. I've tried online chat twice and phone twice - 2nd phone call was on hold over an hour. NO ONE can tell me what will happen to the price of my Verizon services if I don't sign a new 2 year contract before the current one ends on Jan 17.
Currently I pay $99.99 for Triple Play, Extreme HD, 75/75 MBs Internet, and Phone. I have an offer on screen that tells me I can get the same deal for 12 months for $119.99, but I can't add it to my cart!
If I click the buttons to keep the same package, it's $149.99/month. That's $50 more and nothing to show for it. $1,200!
While I would much rather get the same deal for the same price, $119.99 isn't looking so bad compared to $149.99.
The thing is, no one on chat or phone can see the $119.99 price.
When I ask them what my price will be if I do nothing, I've been told $149.99, $129.99, $124.99, and "I don't know".
My questions are:
1. What will the price be if I don't renew my contract.
2. Will I go to a month-to-month plan or will I be locked into a 12-month or 24-month agreement without my consent?
3. Why is it impossible to get a straight answer?
Thank you,
Kathy
