Internet Out for 48 Hours Customer Service Not Answering Phone

It’s Sunday night and my Fios Internet has been out for 48 hours. For eight of these hours I have been on hold with Verizon. They say 5-10 minutes but after two hours I just give up. I know there has been a windstorm on the East coast but really, they should put on more people.
