MAKE A MISTAKE

I was looking to see about getting another box for a TV and with all the junk popping up on screen I supposedly change my plan by accident and was told that I renewed my contract. And there was nothing that can be done to change it back.  And if I canceled I would be charged $350.00 for early termination fee. I tried to explain to the service rep, oh I got disconnected 5 times on the evening I noticed the new contract.  As I was trying to explain that I did not want to change my plan, I was told to bad you made a mistake and if you cancel it will cost you.  To me that is extortion, anyway you put it, After finally getting to speak with a supervisor who informed me that there is nothing that they can do but either take what they have on the screen or pay the extortion fee of $350.00. If this is what they call customer service I am applauded that I was doing business with this company. Has anyone else had a problem like this. I am a 65 year elder and there web site is not very user friendly for me. I am still waiting to hear from a manger on this matter, but keep getting told that they don't handle calls like this....
