Move Fios feed to underground

We are long time Verizon Fios users located in Westmoreland Park in Fairfax County (near Haycock Elementary School) in Zip code 22046.  Our Fios service and our electrical service from Dominion Power are both provided through overhead feed lines from poles.  Last year we started getting information from Dominion Power that they were going to start the process to move their feed lines underground (they call this their "Strategic Underground" project).  They have now (November 2023) started this process and this week their crews ran underground conduit and electrical cable to the houses on our street.  Once they convert our service over (sometime next Spring or Summer) there will be no overhead electrical wires from a pole to our house.  I asked the Virginia Power representatives if they were coordinating their activities with other providers such as Verizon to move their wires (and fibers) underground and they said they were not aware of any coordination.  I would like to see what could be done so that Verizon could put the Fios fiber underground as well.  Fios has been spectacularly reliable since we moved here over 20 years ago and I worry that once Dominion Power has no need to maintain overhead lines that maintenance of the poles will decline and Fios customers may feel the impact.   I have spoken with several neighbors who have expressed similar sentiments and concerns.  I would appreciate your attention to this matter!  Thank you!
