We are currently in the midst of moving, but we've ran into a snag! Our previous house mates will not allow us to remove our fios equipment even tho it's in my name. I do not want to pay for them to use our services and us not have any, so what do I do?

Itโs amazing how friends one day are enemies the next.
if the service is in YOUR NAME call the police. Have them come to the residence and allow you to remove the equipment from Fios that you are responsible for.
have a up to date invoice in your possession to show itโs in your care.
Good Luck

Call Verizon and have them cancel service.
That should convince them to give up the hardware.
Go out to ONT and disconnect cable and ethernet (if applicable)
Wait until they leave the house and grab it.
I assume they know you are going to quit paying as soon as you move and that the boxes will be useless at that point?
And as stated before, if all else fails, call police and say they stole it.
