I have an old (copper) landline that was installed by a company that has since been merged with Verizon. I am a new owner and don't have or need landline service.
The phone line was attached to the top of the electrical service conduit mast which is against code. The old phone line recently pulled the conduit straps out of the brick wall and I'm stuck with a bill from the electrician because of the original improper installation.
