Poor Service

I have had a Verizon telephone account for over 10 years.  When I tried to add DSL internet service to my account, it took an hour and 20 minutes of my time on the phone to get the account change made.  If this is the level of service that other Verizon customers are experiencing, perhaps I should sell my shares in the company, as I can't understand how any company can survive treating their customers this way.
