Hi,
I had the gigabit service installed today which involved running a new ethernet cable from my detached garage (where the ONT is located) into my home. The ethernet cable was installed in the electrical conduit between garage and home. I believe this violates the NEC (800.133(A)(2)) can't put electrical and low voltage, e.g. cat 5e, in the same conduit). Can someone from Verizon comment on this and provide options for fixing? Thanks!

This is basically a peer to peer support forum.
So you will need to contact Verizon directly.
One question:
If you beleived it to be a violation, why let the tech install it that way?
