How do I file a property damage claim? When Verizon installed the Fios optical cable tower, the workers apparently nicked one of our two electrical service cables that feed our house with electricity. That caused the cable to oxidize over time and it just gave out.  The electrical contractor inspected it an noted that the cable had been nicked.
