A tree has fallen on the cable wire and it is now laying in my front yard. Could a Verizon representative please respond. I am unable to get through on the phone.

Try this site.
However Verizon has nothing to do with downed cable wires. Just their own.
for cable wires call the cable company.

You mean Verizon Fios tv? They are fiber optics not cable per se.
but the link I gave you should be what you need.

Can someone tell me if they have had any success in VERIZON responding to tree down on Verizon Cable Wires? I have been trying for going on 2 months now with tickets being put in then closed once a tech comes to our home and see the tree. I am going to contact PUC to see if they can help. This is ridiculous as well customer cruelty. Please give any advise about this issue.

You should have to have a tree company out first. Verizon is not responsible for the tree. The property owner is.
