Trees Trimmed or Removed?

I live in South County (Morgan Hill), and am in the midst of taking all of the trees out of my backyard.  2 trees in particular have thick black wires intertwined within them.  I contacted both the utility companies and they said they do not belong to them, but rather the telephone company.

Do you send someone out and they do a survey or trim or do we cut tree down and hopes that we don't cut through your wires? or?

Please let us know.

Thank you!

your local fire dept or police might have a phone number that they call if they have a "downed pole"  due to traffic accident or bad weather or ???......maybe they could give you that number if you contact their dispatch center......also, the utility company surely has a way to get a hold of someone from Verizon if they need to...u just gotta figure out how to get them to do it.....sorry i can't help any more than those weak suggestions....good luck

I doubt that Verizon will come out and remove trees that you want removed vs those that are endangering the lines (ie falling ont he lines).

How have you tried contacting Verizon? I have good luck with hitting them on twitter (@verizonsupport).

Or call a tree trimming service. Most either have dealt with utility lines or know how to contact utilities if they won't do it themselves.
