I'm having the same issue it seems a lot of people are having--the link in my account homepage does not work. It constantly times out, no matter what time of day I try, what computer I use, my internet connection is fine. Just never works, always gives an error message about not being able to complete the connection.
I see a lot of folks have this issue, and its making me feel like Verizon is purposefully trying to be difficult about this to prevent people from claiming the rewards they offered. It feels like they hope if they make it enough of a hassle, people will give up and they wont have to pay out the cards they promised.
I just want the $50 reward they promised me with my new service--please help

Per Fios Twitter support agent, oopsie Fios lied and its not 31 days after installation now, its 65 days after installation. Of course, they can't tell me WHEN this change was made, or what its effective date was. Just that they're sorry the two emails I've received, more than a month apart, that both say 30 days after installation you can register, are apparently in error.
I've contacted the evening news investigative reporter about this. Shine some light on this nonsense, so Verizon has to start paying out the cards they promised us, in the time frame they promised us!!!

Sorry folks--have been told that the length of time after installation has been changed to 65 days. Wasn't told when this was done or when it was effective, just that all emails referring to 30 days were sent in error and that you now have to wait 65 days after insallation to be able to register for the rewards prepaid card.
Wanted to pass along what I've found out in the hopes that it'll save someone else some hassle, but would love to know if anyone can produce something official from Verizon detailing the 65 day waiting period and when the change was effective.
