Has anyone ever experienced this issue? Whenever I need to contact Verizon Tech Support (1-800-VERIZON, option 1) after 5PM EST, I get transferred and immediately disconnect. I try this throughout the night on different days (weeknights and weekends) and the same thing happens. However when I call during normal business hours, I connect with someone pretty much immediately.
Normally first level tech support remains active 24/7. Some other areas including billing and higher levels of tech support have only certain hours, although I thought past 5PM EST.
