I contacted FiOS Home services on Sat to get instructions on using the Fiis app on Apple TV 4K streaming device. This was to avoid buying another set top box and paying $160 , to have a technician come back out and run a cable line.
was advised by FiOS employee they had set everything up and there was no limit on devices to activate. I was able to set up 1 Apple TV. Tried setting up a 2nd Apple TV and get only the option to “register” the Apple TV. Also device can only be authorized/Deauthorized twine within a 30 day period.
I followed instruction to register on the web. Try to do so as well as sign in on the app. Only option, deregister device I registered this morning. No other options but “ok”. My devices are updated. I have deleted and redownloaded the app. No go!!
There are bugs with the app they need to push an update to fix. Instructions on screen are simple. They just don’t work nor activate the expected outcome once you follow through with the steps.
