I recently paid my phone bill with Verizon on 5/7, and when I was in the store I spoke with a specialist and said that my brothers phone number needed disconnection for his contract was up, and that I would like a cheaper plan. He gave me a receipt but I didn't realize until midnight this morning that the disconnection number is MY phone number. They also slapped me with a 350 dollar early termination fee as I am only 6 months into a 2 year contract. I currently have no service on my phone and am extremely upset. The store doesn't open until 12pm today and I was hoping to not have to pay a reactivation fee. I live pretty much paycheck to paycheck and this is the only way to reach people. My mom and brother went to straight talk because of problems like this and I don't want to have to do the same.
