I have also experienced what this article discusses. The average person could use a Verizon account 101 to refer to before signing on.

Verizon has different speed tiers and TV packages, but that is not different than any other TV/Internet provider.
You can sign up for 100/100 mbps for $40 which is plenty of speed. If you want TV service, Preferred or Extreme are the middle packages and will cover most channels that people want.
You could write that same exact article about any TV/Internet service provider.
