The cover on a Verizon box outside my back patio is broken. My dog almost fell in this hole and a neighbor has also almost fallen in it. This property abuts a sidewalk on E. Fairfax Street in Falls Church Virginia. There is a large apartment complex across the street, and down the road is small shopping center with restaurants and an alehouse. This is broken cover is a hazard to pedestrians.
I am not a Verizon customer, but called in January about this problem. After hours of routing through the robo-call directory, I finally spoke to a live person who informed me that a ticket was being made and someone would take care of this problem. Today, I missed a call from Verizon. The voicemail indicated that they had an old ticket about this problem, assumed it was repaired., and that they were closing out the ticket. The return number was the same robo-call directory that I had called in January. I could not get to a live person to let them know that the problem was never resolved.
Other neighbors have called and had similar experiences. Please send someone to fix this problem.
