So I have a pole in front of my house that I had an upgrade to 200 amp electrical service 2 years ago. There was slack in the wires then but now there is no slack and lots of tension. So much so that the point of attachment on my house, eyebolt, is actually bent and holding up the pole that is leaning into the street. PSEGLI came and looked and said it’s very dangerous and they put in a ticket because it’s a Verizon pole. It’s been almost 2 weeks and I put in 2 calls but no one called me back. Now in a time when we are to self quarantine due to Coronavirus, if that wire gets yanked from my house and causes a fire, there are going to be some serious problems for Verizon. Specially after numerous calls and tickets from electrical utility.
